with my bad throat , i wasn't in the state to study.
friday 29/4/05 , the day of my first paper and the first time in my life to visit a 'specialist' clinic for my tonsilitis*-the ENT clinic .
the latter experience led me to seriously reconsidered why they are special in the first place.
i meant not as in their area of speciality but special unfriendly , and superb cold attitude of the doctor .
pls don`t get me wrong , i got nthing against ttsh ENT clinic , the staffs and clerks, onli the doctor.
after asking the usual qs , the next moment i am in for something i felt so uncomfortable , that the doctor did not even bother to explain to and inform me of what i am about to go through-totally no mental preparation .its called Nasoendoscopy , the doc will put a scope through the nose and advance to see if ther's any abnormalities. b4 that, they will spray something awfully bitter to anesthetize the noses.this specially
uncomfortable, unable to tolerate procdure,costed me$56 (thank god its medisave). this irritating doc , obviously aware of my paying class which is subsidized purposely prescribed me unsubsidized drugs.
so much talk of ethical and moral obligations of a doctor where basic patient's right of choice is violated .if only i knew ..
i would rather die than see doctor
i wouldn't freak out in shock at the payment counter upon knowing it costed $24.
That is, $4 more than my subsidized consultation fees of $ 20 .
medicine more expensive than consultation fees !@$!@$^!~#$^$%*&
next time when u r sick , u know what to do . ..
actually my experience is a very subjective one .
how i felt may not be what the majority feeels . .
it really have to depends on many many factors like
E.g. the doctors
the nurses
the registration clerks
the pharmacists..
in order to have a smooth and truly Special experience .

no wonder hiv rates rises like the shares of Nasdaq.
sometimes i really can't help but wonder why s.g.is a bit dumb(coming up wit ridiculous laws and not passing must have laws to tackle local sex tourists.)
not long ago i remembered reading an article on ways to deal with increasing hiv rates. they suggested it an offence to pass on hivs regardless knowingly or unknowingly. blame it on my failing memory, the exact details i couldn't remember. the first thought was it was a joke and totally not feasible . it's meant to protect women from spouse with hivs. it's not fair to be punished when you don't even know you are infected.And how is the court going to determine if a person knows he or she is infected . S.g. is the first of a kind different from the rest of the world to come up with something, u know what ~~ EXTRA~~

AND ON THE OTHER HAND , there's nothing done to prosecuted those local sex tourists that puts our country to shame. Sad to say, there are alot of perverts and cheap sex tourists ( why cheap becos batam currency lowers ) and another thing is they never get into trouble with the law here because this digusted act is not in singapore.i am really sorry for the womens , girls and childs captured and forced into prostitution.this is blatant exploitation by the pimps and they can never be free from constant exploitation. these womens and childrens are not human, they are basically sex slaves or sex machines. sounds very pathetic right? in countries like batam and thailand , this is so very common .
WHY common ? because idiots like sex tourists patronised them . to free the girls and stop forced prostituition, we have to be strong and take a stance and sAy NO straight in their faces by not going there . the law to stop ppl from going there must be established.many other countries had imposed laws on sex tourists going overseas to have sex..it is a moral sin, a crime and an offence!!!!! law-makers and policy-makers, heard that?
Make singapore proud by passing pragmatic and not EXTRAordinary laws.

never knew watching movies can be quite tiring.
i remembered few months or years ago, there is this competition of movie marathon at takashimaya , cannot sleep and jus watch.
the one who manages to hang on until the very end will be the winner
at that time , my mind was thinking ..wahaha so song why not i join, can watch movies and win prizes at the same time.
and yesterdae went to cin's house and watch LOTR full series..at the second one, the two towers , i cannot hang on liaoz.. my eyes like that of deadfishes
so sometimes things are not as easy as it seems. you have to do it and experience it for yourself b4 making a judgement . its easy to say but hard to do.

1 week had passed since my attachment started and 1 long one to go. kind of very dislike attachment, cos it leaves me with no time for many things . one of my top 5 hatelist: attachments . and esp. wit my course , it seems endless.
Wondered whether i will even graduate but heck care just "take a step at a time " -zo yi bu ,kan yi bu.
nthing special for this wk , life is just so dull,stale and lifeless//
hope nobody feels the same way as me cos it's awfully pissed.

Cin, remembered once in ur blog , u mention no long fingernails for guys in the 31 commandments? i saw one today in the bus and felt kind of obscene. it was then tat i realised long fingernails for guys cannot be tolerated.
Firstly the person looked at his own fingernails admiringly , touching and carressing. fancy taking pride in nails.. i thought tats a girl's thing.
secondly, he picked up his 7610 phone and began to sms slowly with his thumb,, afraid to break his nails . thats nothing wrong to buai song about except then that i noticed he got 3 very yellowish long fingernails.. wat abt the other two ? the other 2 were flat and trimmed, kinda obvious that he broke it .
And tat brings me to my point: why didn't he cut away all when he broke one .. Its unneat, ugly and digusting especially when its so stained. glad i didn't have breakfast yet .
as for me . .i am the type of ppl who believe in all or nothing , so my nails are either nicely manicured or short.

had two terribly bad falls twice in a day. both at nyp stairssscase. one is in lecture hall, where the floor is carpeted and hence lesser impact. the latter one is on any normal ordinary stair, concreted and OUCH...

Pope john paul ll has passed away ..though i am not a catholic . the sadness and grief overwhelming the city and all parts of the world, including singapore, kind of affected me. The man who opposed divorce, birth control and abortion, the ordination of women and the lifting of the celibacy requirement for priests had left us . In one way or another, he's very much like Mother theresa..our father who promotes and advocates world peace. maybe heaven shed tears of sorrow, for its raining throughout the day ....
